San Diego, January 26, 2011 - The newest Military Sealift Command (MSC) dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) exits San Diego Bay to complete sea trials before delivery to the Military Sealift Command. USNS Washington Chambers and its crew of civil service mariners and Navy Sailors will play a crucial role delivering ammunition and other supplies to Navy ships at sea, allowing them to remain underway and combat ready for extended periods of time.
