U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Jarvis (WHEC-725) transits through Pearl Harbor channel as seen from the Ford Island sea plane ramp. USCGC Jarvis is a Hamilton-class high endurance cutter based out of Honolulu, Hawaii. Launched April 24, 1971 at Avondale Shipyard near New Orleans, Louisiana and named for Captain David H. Jarvis of the United States Revenue Cutter Service.
